Sherani Deputy Commissioner holds Open Court in Mani Khwa, gives on-the-spot directives

SHERANI: An Open Court (Khuli Kachehri) was held at Mani Khwa, the headquarters of Sherani district, under the chairmanship of Sherani Deputy Commissioner Kalimullah. Officials and representatives of various government departments attended. Its aim was to hear public problems directly and ensure immediate steps to resolve them.

Citizens, elders and public representatives from Mani Khwa and other parts of the district attended in large numbers. They raised issues relating to education, health, drinking water, construction and repair of roads, electricity, communications, agriculture, local government affairs, revenue, forests, police and other sectors.

The Deputy Commissioner listened to the complaints carefully and directed the officials present to take action on a priority basis. He said the basic responsibility of government institutions was to provide better facilities to the public. He said the problems raised at the Open Court should not be limited to complaints but should be given relief through practical steps. Public circles appreciated the holding of the Open Court. The Deputy Commissioner said public complaints would be addressed in good time through effective coordination between departments.
