Mohsin Naqvi’s contact with Barrister Gohar is good, says Rana Sanaullah

Adviser to the Prime Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi is in contact with PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar, and that this is good. He said talks should be held through this channel. Ali Amin Gandapur was also in contact with the interior minister. “We always appreciated it.”
Speaking on the programme “Nadeem Malik Live”, Rana Sanaullah said, “We always stress that politicians should sit together. When the Charter of Democracy was signed, a third party came in, and it has not been handled to this day.”
Rana Sanaullah said the Supreme Court’s decision on the PTI founder was not made on political grounds. He said the PTI founder was being brought to Shifa Hospital. The agencies said that bringing him to Shifa Hospital could create a law-and-order situation. It was suggested that the doctors examine the PTI founder at PIMS.
The PML-N leader said the position the government took on the decision was also correct. He said the law does not allow any prisoner to be treated outside a government hospital. He said the Prime Minister is not a party in the contempt of court matter. Mohsin Naqvi’s name is not in the petition; the name of the Interior Secretary is.
Rana Sanaullah said the DG ISPR had described 9 May as an attack on the institution. He said the DG ISPR had said the 9 May attack would neither be forgiven nor forgotten. “No one has been forgiven so far, nor will anyone be forgiven. An attempt at mutiny in the army was made on 9 May. This is a very big crime.”
He said the incident at PIMS Hospital was regrettable and a shock for the parents. He said an inquiry into the PIMS incident should be held and those involved should be punished. The Prime Minister called a high-level meeting on the incident and reviewed everything. Whoever is responsible for the PIMS incident should be made an example of. “It is not the Prime Minister’s job to go to the hospital and check what is needed.”
