QUETTA (INP): Amir of Jamaat-i-Islami Quetta, Mawlana Hafiz Noor Ali, has said that a historic public rally against insecurity and inflation, and for the restoration of peace, will be held in Quetta on November 15 under the leadership of Mawlana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch. Central Amir of Jamaat-i-Islami Pakistan, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, will address the rally as special guest.

He invited the citizens and people of Quetta to take part in the rally in large numbers. He said district and zonal office-bearers should plan for the rally’s success and contact people door to door. He made these remarks while addressing corner meetings, meetings and gatherings during visits to various zones of Quetta.

Hafiz Noor Ali said the people of Balochistan are deprived of their basic rights, that lives and property are unsafe, and that trade, employment, business, highways and borders are subject to closures. He added that education and healthcare facilities are also scarce, causing severe hardship to the public. In these circumstances, Jamaat-i-Islami has taken to the field to defend the rights of the people.

Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has announced a movement against extortion, levies, inflation and insecurity imposed by the rulers. He said the movement will succeed with the strength and support of the people.

He further said it is the government’s primary responsibility to give the people of Balochistan control over their resources, provide employment to young people and ensure security and protection for citizens.

Hafiz Noor Ali said Jamaat-i-Islami will continue to struggle on every forum as the voice of the people, to secure their legitimate rights and end oppression and injustice. He directed all office-bearers and workers to remain active and engaged, and said that citizens, ulema, civil society and every segment of society should be contacted and invited to attend the rally.
