ISLAMABAD: Senator Hafiz Abdul Karim, Amir of the Markazi Jamiat Ahle Hadith Pakistan, has said that preparations are in full swing for the All-Pakistan Ahle Hadith Conference, due to be held on 15 November at Minar-e-Pakistan in Lahore. The conference is titled “Protection of the Haramain Sharifain and Strengthening of Pakistan”, and the party’s position will be presented on national unity, national stability, the defence of the Haramain Sharifain and important issues facing the public.

To review the arrangements, Hafiz Abdul Karim held detailed meetings with the heads of various committees. He was briefed on progress in the preparations, administrative matters and the performance of different departments. He reviewed the arrival and transport of participants, reception, seating arrangements, publicity campaign, security and other administrative matters.

He directed the relevant committees to work in mutual coordination and consultation. He said no shortcomings should be allowed in the arrangements and all matters should be finalised before the conference. Emphasis was also placed on making special arrangements for the reception, guidance and facilities of ulema, mashaikh, religious and social figures and party workers arriving from across the country.

Hafiz Abdul Karim said the All-Pakistan Ahle Hadith Conference would be more than a gathering and would serve as an important platform for Pakistan’s stability, national unity, the defence of the Haramain Sharifain and the strengthening of constitutional and democratic institutions. The party’s position on national, political, religious and social issues will be put forward at the gathering, and the rights of the Ahle Hadith community and religious matters will also be highlighted strongly.

He said the stability and security of Pakistan are the shared responsibility of the entire nation. He directed all committees to monitor the matters entrusted to them continuously, resolve administrative problems promptly and keep the central leadership regularly informed of progress. Hafiz Abdul Karim expressed his resolve that all office-bearers and workers of the party would play their full part in making the 15 November conference a success.
