LAHORE: Chaudhry Sajjad Nazir, a member of the Punjab Executive Council of the Pakistan Peoples Party, has said that gas load-shedding has begun across the country even before the winter season has formally started, and that LPG has also become more expensive.

He asked where the poor man was supposed to go.

According to him, the incompetence of the PML-N rulers has made life difficult for ordinary people. He said the incompetent government had caused havoc in every sector. Electricity is expensive and load-shedding continues alongside it, while petrol and gas prices have also risen.

According to Sajjad Nazir’s statement, LPG is not available at the officially fixed rate, and its prices are soaring. He warned that LPG could become even more expensive, and said there were reports of a decision to raise the price of LPG daily.

He asked the rulers whether they would give relief to the poor or continue to offer them only the gift of inflation.

He said load-shedding of electricity and gas, heavy bills and rising petroleum product prices had made life miserable for the public.

The statement comes at a time when the winter season has only just begun and household consumers are worried about the availability and prices of gas and LPG. The government has not yet responded to the statement.
