Qila Abdullah: Deputy Commissioner gives away trophies at third All Jashn-e-Azadi seven-a-side football final

QILA ABDULLAH: Deputy Commissioner Qila Abdullah Munawar Hasan Magsi attended the final of the third All Jashn-e-Azadi Seven-a-Side Football Tournament in Mizai Adda as chief guest.

Regional Sports Committee Awami Group Chairman Mahmood Ahmed, alias Mama, DC Superintendent Muhammad Shafiq Khan and Inspector Habibullah Khan were among those present. A large number of players, youths, spectators and people associated with sports also attended.

Addressing the players and youths, Deputy Commissioner Munawar Hasan Magsi said sports play an important role in the physical and mental development of the young generation, in positive thinking and in building a healthy society. He urged young people to take an active part in positive and constructive activities, including sports.

He praised the holding of the tournament and said the district administration would continue to give every possible support to promote sports among youths and to provide them with opportunities for positive activities. At the end of the ceremony, the Deputy Commissioner distributed trophies and prizes among the players who showed outstanding performance and the winning teams.
