World Cup 2027: Pakistan and India likely to be placed in same group again

According to media reports, Pakistan and India will be in the same group, even though Pakistan’s record against India is not impressive. Commercial partners have also made a Pakistan-India match in the group stage a must.

It may be noted that broadcasters still consider the Pakistan-India match important in ICC events.

The schedule of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2027 will be unveiled in Cape Town tomorrow. The event will begin at 9pm Pakistan time. The 14-team ICC Cricket World Cup will be played in South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe from 2 October to 21 November 2027.

A one-year countdown to the ICC World Cup 2027 will begin on 1 October.
