Maryam Nawaz’s daughter Mahnoor Safdar weds Azan Jabbar at Jati Umra

The ceremony was limited to private family guests. Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Hassan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz attended the nikah, along with the Sharif family and close relatives.

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Punjab Senior Minister Maryam Aurangzeb also attended the ceremony.

According to family sources, Mahnoor Safdar’s husband, Azan Jabbar, belongs to a well-known business family. His father, Jabbar Khalid, is a prominent industrialist of the country, and the family is associated with the flour milling industry.

Meanwhile, Videos of the ceremony are going viral on Social Media. In one video, Mahnoor Safdar is seen standing ready as a bride. In another, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is driving his brother Nawaz Sharif and other family members to the venue.

Mahnoor Safdar recently returned home after completing her higher Education and graduating from SOAS University of London. Maryam Nawaz had also travelled to London to attend her daughter’s graduation ceremony.

Speaking in London on the occasion of her daughter’s graduation, Maryam Nawaz had said that, by the grace of Allah, all three of her children had completed their higher Education.
