Lasbela commissioner Saira Ata chairs meeting on Communication and Works projects in Uthal

UTHAL: A meeting was held under Lasbela Division Commissioner Saira Ata to review progress on ongoing and proposed development projects of the Communication and Works (C&W) Department in Lasbela district.

Deputy Commissioner Humaira Baloch, SP Lasbela Najibullah Pandrani and the Executive Engineer (Roads) attended the meeting. An engineer of the Communication and Works Department gave the Commissioner Lasbela a detailed briefing on the construction and repair of roads and other development schemes across the district.

During the briefing, the Commissioner was informed about the current status of the development projects, their progress, completion time and the problems faced.

Commissioner’s directives

The Lasbela Division Commissioner directed that work on all development projects be completed to the required standard and within the set time. She stressed effective monitoring of the projects, ensuring the quality of construction work and maintaining transparency in the schemes.

She directed government officials to remove obstacles in the projects at once, and to monitor progress on all schemes regularly and submit reports, so that the public could be provided with better travel facilities and quality infrastructure.
