Gwadar Development Authority focuses on sports facilities as youth play at Senator Mohammad Ishaq Cricket Ground

GWADAR: Under the Balochistan government’s policy of keeping young people engaged in healthy and positive activities, promoting sports and giving local players better chances to show their talent, the Gwadar Development Authority is paying special attention to providing, improving and maintaining sports facilities.

Sports grounds are playing an important role in the healthy activities of young people, their physical and mental growth and the development of sporting talent. Senator Mohammad Ishaq Cricket Ground and Baba Bizenjo Football Stadium are key sports centres in Gwadar, where young players have the chance to show their abilities and take part in different sports.

The aim of improving the grounds and facilities is to draw the younger generation towards positive and constructive activities, promote a healthy lifestyle and develop sporting talent at the local level. This is among the priorities of the provincial government.
