GWADAR: A meeting to review the age correction of employees of various government departments was held under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Zahoor Baloch. District Accounts Officer Soban Baloch and District Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) of the departments concerned attended.

The meeting reviewed in detail age-related cases of employees of the Education, Health, Police, Agriculture, Social Welfare and Communication and Works (B&R) departments and the Vocational Training Centre. The cases were examined in the light of educational certificates, service records and other official documents.

The dates of birth entered in the official records were compared with the details in the educational certificates. The officers were directed to verify the documents of all cases fully, in accordance with the rules and the available record, so that transparency, accuracy and uniformity in the record could be ensured.

The Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue directed that all cases be decided on merit and with transparency under the prescribed rules. He said final action should be taken only after the necessary documents had been fully verified.
