Commissioner Sibi orders timely completion of Sibi-Tali road; Kesco briefs on load-shedding

SIBI: The Kesco executive engineer briefed a meeting chaired by Sibi Division Commissioner Irfanullah Khan on power supply, the load-shedding schedule and other related matters. Public complaints about electricity were also discussed.

The meeting was then given a detailed briefing on the Sibi-Tali road, an important development project. The Director Development and the Deputy Project Director informed the meeting about progress on the project and the construction work.

Commissioner Irfanullah Khan directed that there should be no compromise on quality in building the road and that the project be completed within the stipulated time, so that people get better travel facilities. He said a letter would be sent to the senior authorities concerned for the release of funds for the project, so that development work could be speeded up.
