No official resources will be used in long march, says Barrister Gohar

Speaking about his meetings with Mohsin Naqvi, Barrister Gohar said they meet from time to time. He said talks should be held. For now, he said, the atmosphere is cool and nothing has been agreed.
He said the party would not break any law during the protest and would not block roads. He added that no official resources would be used in the long march.
He also said the court should not have sought an affidavit from the Inspector General of Police of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said no impression should be given that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the police would fight each other.
Barrister Gohar said efforts were under way to increase the capacity of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police. He said the province spent Rs45 billion on the police department last year.
Barrister Gohar said it would be ensured that there was no political interference in the police. He said that once the Chief Minister received powers over the police, he would not use them to favour people of his choice but would take steps to improve the force.
