Facilities available at the centre
The centre has a waiting area, washrooms, a biometric facility, an information desk and computerised machines for information on cases. Litigants will be able to find out the hearing dates of their cases, the relevant bench and other available information. Citizens coming to court for the first time will also be given the necessary guidance.
The Balochistan High Court Chief Justice said basic facilities, administrative matters and security in the judicial system need further improvement. Attention is also being paid to stopping unnecessary movement of unrelated persons within the court premises and ensuring effective security arrangements.
He thanked the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Supreme Court judges, Balochistan High Court judges, lawyers, court staff, the Balochistan government, the Communication and Works Department and other relevant officials for their cooperation in setting up the centre. He said the centre aims to reduce the distance between the court and the citizen and to give litigants an organised, dignified and public-friendly judicial environment.
