B-TEVTA MD holds online meeting with ADB on centres of excellence in divisions

QUETTA: Managing Director B-TEVTA Abdul Kabir Zarkoon chaired a virtual (online) meeting with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) on the development and activation of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector in Balochistan.

The meeting held a detailed discussion on key development priorities, institutional strengthening, improvement of technical skills and strategic measures to raise the quality, effectiveness and standard of technical and vocational education across Balochistan. A plan to set up “Centres of Excellence” in different divisions was also considered.

B-TEVTA Director Ghulam Mustafa Raisani and assistant directors also attended the meeting. They presented their views and proposals to make the technical and vocational education sector in Balochistan stronger and in line with future needs.
