Assistant Commissioner visits DHQ Hospital Dera Allahyar, reviews emergency medicines

JAFARABAD: On the directions of Jafarabad Deputy Commissioner Khalid Khan, Assistant Commissioner Jhat Pat Dhiraj Kalra paid a detailed visit to the District Headquarters Hospital in Dera Allahyar. He inspected various departments and reviewed the medical facilities provided to patients.

The hospital administration briefed the Assistant Commissioner on the availability of medicines, emergency medicine stock, cleanliness, the dental OPD, mother and child health, and the paediatric ward.

Dhiraj Kalra inspected the emergency medicine stock. He directed that the availability of medicines and the records be checked regularly, so that patients can receive immediate medical aid in an emergency. He also reviewed cleanliness in the wards and directed that standards be improved further and a special cleanliness drive be run.

During his inspection of the dental OPD, he said the available resources should be used effectively to provide better dental facilities to patients. The Assistant Commissioner also stressed the need to ensure necessary facilities, staff attendance and proper care of patients in the mother and child and paediatric wards.
