A key meeting on the Rakhni Development Package and the construction of a modern 50-bed hospital was held under the chairmanship of Commissioner Koh-e-Suleman Division Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Qambrani, in line with the vision of Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti.

Additional Commissioner Abdul Basit Bazdar, Project Director Ehtisham ul Haq and other relevant officials attended the meeting.

During the meeting, Project Director Ehtisham ul Haq briefed the Commissioner in detail on the ongoing development schemes and the progress made on the construction of the 50-bed hospital. He said the Rakhni Development Package includes the divisional secretariat, improvements to roads and the bypass, a sewerage and sanitation system, a model bazaar and a safe city project. The package also covers a bus and truck terminal, a park, a sports complex, a landfill site and improvements to municipal facilities. He said all these projects are directly linked to the daily lives of citizens and aim to ensure public welfare.

Commissioner Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Qambrani directed that work on all development projects be accelerated. He made clear that no compromise would be made on construction quality and that progress on the projects would be monitored regularly. He instructed the relevant officials to keep a close watch on the status of each project so that timely action can be taken in case of delay.

The Commissioner said the modern 50-bed hospital would provide better medical facilities to the people of Rakhni and neighbouring areas. According to him, once the project is completed, patients from the area will no longer have to travel to distant cities for treatment, reducing their time, expenses and hardships.

The overall aim of the meeting was to review the pace of the Rakhni Development Package and hospital projects and to agree on the steps needed to complete them. Officials said monitoring of the projects will continue so that residents can benefit from them as soon as possible.
