Trump says Iran could be bombed again after midterm elections

Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump rejected the Iranian proposal as unacceptable. He said Iran wanted a deal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz immediately, but the United States did not agree with the offer.
He said the United States already had complete control of the Strait of Hormuz and, according to him, a large quantity of oil was passing through it. He said Iran wanted a deal and the United States also wanted one, but the current Iranian offer was not acceptable.
Earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi had said he had conveyed a seven-day ceasefire plan to the United States through Qatar. If the United States agreed, the Strait of Hormuz could be reopened within seven days.
