Four militants including Afghan national killed in Kurram operation

Security forces carried out a successful operation against Khawarij in Kurram district on 8 September 2026. They killed Afghan Khariji Obaidullah Saad, who was linked to Fitna al-Khawarij, along with three of his associates.

According to sources, the slain Khariji, Obaidullah Saad, son of Ghulam Ghous Salehi, was a resident of Shahi Qila village in Afghanistan’s Logar province. He belonged to the banned Fitna al-Khawarij.

Obaidullah Saad was involved in a number of acts of terrorism in Pakistan.

Security forces will continue operations without discrimination against anti-state elements infiltrating from Afghanistan. There will be no compromise on the peace and security of the country or on the protection of the lives and property of the people, which will be ensured at all costs.
