GWADAR: In line with the vision of Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti, PPHI Balochistan is making its monitoring and services more effective to ensure quality basic healthcare for every citizen of the province. In this regard, PPHI Gwadar District Manager Dr Murshid Dashti made a detailed monitoring visit to the Basic Health Unit (BHU) Ghatti Dor.

During the visit, he closely reviewed staff attendance, the OPD register, the EPI site, the MNCH centre, available stocks of medicines, medical equipment, patient registration, cleanliness and other administrative and medical records. He inspected the medical facilities provided at the health centre. He also met patients and asked about the treatment facilities and the problems they faced.

Dr Murshid Dashti said practical steps were continuing to make the basic health system effective, transparent and people-friendly under the vision of Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti. He said the main aim of PPHI was to provide quality, timely and uninterrupted medical care at the doorstep of people in remote and backward areas, so that every citizen could get better treatment.

He directed the medical staff to perform their duties with honesty, dedication and professional skill, to treat patients courteously and not to compromise on the quality of treatment. He made it clear that staff attendance, availability of medicines and the performance of health centres would continue to be monitored regularly and that negligence or carelessness would not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Dr Murshid Dashti expressed the resolve that PPHI Balochistan would keep strengthening its services and monitoring system, implementing the Balochistan government’s public health policies effectively, to provide quality medical facilities to people in urban and remote areas of Gwadar district.
