MUSAKHEL: A tribal delegation met Deputy Commissioner Abdul Razzaq Khajak in his office. They discussed development projects under the Balochistan Special Development Initiative (BSDI) 2026-27.

The Deputy Commissioner said work was under way under the BSDI at the grassroots level, not only in Musakhel district but across the province. It covers basic facilities, education, clean drinking water and better infrastructure. He made it clear that transparency, quality construction and timely completion would be ensured in all development projects.

He said the Balochistan government’s budget for the financial year 2026-27 also includes a special Musakhel Development Plan, modelled on the one for Washuk. Under it, welfare and development work is being launched on a large scale in the district.

Deputy Commissioner Abdul Razzaq Khajak said he was himself inspecting the district’s educational institutions regularly. He recently visited Government Boys High School Dakiyan. He said he was giving priority to monitoring the education system, including the recruitment of teachers on merit. The delegation praised the Deputy Commissioner’s performance and assured him of all possible support.
