Musakhel: BSDI Phase-I 95pc and Phase-II 90pc complete, DC warns of action over sub-contracting

MUSAKHEL: A meeting of the District Development Committee (DCC) was held under Deputy Commissioner Musakhel Abdul Razzaq Khan Khajak to review ongoing development projects in the district. Heads of the departments concerned and executive engineers attended.
The meeting discussed in detail the ongoing and upcoming development projects under Phases I, II and III of the Balochistan Special Development Initiative (BSDI). The briefing said Phase-I was 95 per cent complete and about 90 per cent of the work on Phase-II had been finished. All legal and administrative steps for Phase-III had been completed, and practical work would begin soon.
Deputy Commissioner Abdul Razzaq Khan Khajak clearly directed that there would be no compromise on the quality of development work. He sternly warned that no firm or contractor would hand work to a sub-contractor, or strict legal action would be taken. He directed all officers to ensure transparent use of public funds and the completion of all development projects within the set time, whatever the circumstances.
