Dipika Kakar’s 12kg weight loss due to immunotherapy side effects, says Shoaib Ibrahim

MUMBAI: Shoaib Ibrahim, husband of Indian actress Dipika Kakar, has revealed that the main reason for her loss of 12kg during treatment for liver cancer is the side effects of immunotherapy, not a special diet.

In his latest vlog, Shoaib Ibrahim said Dipika suffers from nausea and vomiting because of the treatment. According to him, Dipika vomits every two days, which has increased her physical weakness.

In the vlog, Dipika Kakar also clarified that she had initially lost 5 to 6kg by changing her diet. The weight lost over the past month and a half, she said, was due to the treatment.

Shoaib Ibrahim warned channels on social media that spread false information about Dipika’s diet. He said some people were making misleading claims using old pictures.

He advised people not to follow anyone’s diet plan without a doctor’s advice, and not to trust online information blindly to lose weight.
