Directions to officials

The Deputy Commissioner directed the officials concerned to improve the city’s cleanliness further, remove encroachments and obstructions from roads and highways immediately, make the drainage system effective and resolve the problems faced by the public without delay.

He directed that the garbage and other waste collected in the city be moved far away from it, so that no rubbish or filth is seen in the city in future.

He said that providing citizens with a clean environment, better travel facilities and well-organised civic services was the top priority of the district administration.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the departments concerned to keep a constant watch on the city’s cleanliness and road clearance measures. He said action would be taken against those responsible in case of negligence or lapse.
