Chaman assistant commissioner inspects markets and bakeries, stresses safety precautions

CHAMAN: Assistant Commissioner City Chaman Azizullah Khan Kakar and Tehsildar Ahmed Khan visited various markets of the city. They reviewed the prices, quality and cleanliness of food items, fruit, vegetables and dry fruit.

During the visit, the weight of bread and the fixed prices were also checked at bakeries.

On the occasion, the Assistant Commissioner made it clear that no leniency would be shown in protecting public health and safety and ensuring compliance with safety precautions.

He directed shopkeepers to follow official price lists, keep their shops clean and avoid selling expired items. He said action would be taken against violators in accordance with the law.
