Bugti orders review of school and health centre buildings across Balochistan

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has directed the administrations of all districts and officials of the education and health departments to review the buildings of all educational institutions and health centres in the province and submit a report.
Speaking on a point of order in the Balochistan Assembly, he said the matter of seminaries in the province was very sensitive. He said the seminaries would be checked in consultation with the Leader of the Opposition.
Condemnation of Dasht Goran incident
Sarfraz Bugti condemned the attack by terrorists on a house in Dasht Goran in Kech. He said people in the province were now realising that the Baloch were being pushed into a pointless war. He asked what tradition it was to kill travellers and unarmed people.
On the occasion, Member of the Provincial Assembly Abdur Rehman Khetran said a case should be registered against the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa over the collapse of a school roof in Peshawar. He said one party had been in power there for many years, and asked why it had not reviewed the schools.
