US may launch heavy attacks on Iran if economic pressure fails, report says

According to Arab media, the United States may launch heavy attacks on Iran if economic pressure does not work.
Al Arabiya TV reported that Washington has received information about Iran’s plans for retaliatory action. The administration of Donald Trump has been informed that the Houthis may escalate tensions in the Bab al-Mandeb Strait. Iranian attacks on ships may also resume.
According to Al Arabiya, Trump has ordered talks with Iran to be halted because of the tensions. President Trump has told his negotiating team that the chances of a deal with Iran are slim.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump announced even tougher economic sanctions against Iran. Donald Trump said he was announcing the most devastating economic action ever taken against any country, and that talks with Iran were a waste of time.
The US president said Iran still has some fighting capability, but what it has left is nothing more than an empty shell. He said a huge quantity of oil is passing through the Strait of Hormuz, and that the strait will not be as important in future as it was in the past.
