Trump delays 50pc new tariffs on Canadian goods for three days

United States President Donald Trump said in a statement on Truth Social that the new 50 per cent tariffs on Canadian goods were being postponed for three days.
He said the United States and Canada had reached an agreement, and the documents were yet to be finalised. He said the Keystone XL pipeline project, cancelled during the Joe Biden era, would be revived.
It may be recalled that the 50 per cent tariff on Canadian goods was to take effect today.
