Gold price rises by Rs2,000 per tola to record Rs440,636
According to the Sarafa Association, the price of gold in the country rose by Rs2,000 per tola to a record Rs440,636. The price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs1,715 to Rs377,774.
In the international market, gold gained $20, and the global price closed at a record $4,181 per ounce.
Silver prices also continued to climb. Silver became Rs50 costlier per tola and reached Rs6,578.
