DUKKI: Deputy Commissioner Dukki Fazal-ur-Rehman Kubdani, accompanied by 87 Wing Commander Colonel Shahid Bilal, made a detailed visit to various development projects under way in Dukki district under the Balochistan Special Development Initiative (BSDI) programme. He reviewed the progress, quality and pace of work. Assistant Commissioner Dukki Muhammad Akram Harifal was also present.

During the visit, the development and construction work under way on Wangi Ribat Road, Khatm-e-Nabuwwat Chowk, Government Middle School Killi Karim Khan and Government Boys High School Killi Dukki was inspected. The officials concerned and the construction staff briefed the visitors on progress, completion timelines and other matters.

The Deputy Commissioner directed that the prescribed construction standards and rules be strictly followed in all projects. He made it clear that no compromise on quality would be acceptable and that the pace of work should be increased further to complete the projects within the set time. He said the projects should be monitored regularly and problems that arise should be resolved at once to avoid unnecessary delay.

He said the projects under way under BSDI were extremely important for providing basic facilities, improving infrastructure and the overall development of Dukki. Their timely completion would give citizens better travel, education and other facilities. The Deputy Commissioner said monitoring would continue to ensure the effective use of public resources, construction quality and timely completion.
