Middle East peoples should reject outside interference, says Chinese president

During a meeting with the Egyptian president, the Chinese president said China supports dialogue for peace and stability. He said the Palestine issue is a key issue of the Middle East.

Chinese President Xi Jinping said a lasting security system based on joint, comprehensive cooperation should be established. He said strong World links should be expanded to achieve development.

Earlier, Chinese President Xi Jinping said the most important task was a ceasefire in Gaza. He said the war must be stopped as soon as possible to avoid the risk of the conflict spreading in the region.

The Chinese president also said the basic way to resolve the Palestine-Israel conflict was to implement the two-state solution.
