PM to consult President at Aiwan-e-Sadr today on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa situation

ISLAMABAD (Atemad Desk): The Prime Minister of Pakistan will meet the President at Aiwan-e-Sadr this evening. According to sources, the meeting is expected at around 4pm. The political and protest situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the earlier talks will be discussed.

Sources said the prime minister will take the president into confidence on important decisions. The ongoing political and protest situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is a key item on the agenda.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi will brief the meeting on important meetings held in recent days. The top leadership of the government and the Pakistan Peoples Party, along with legal experts, will also attend.

According to sources, the government’s negotiating team will accompany the prime minister. The Pakistan Peoples Party’s negotiating team will also take part in the meeting.
