Five MoUs signed at Pakistan-China investment forum in Guangzhou

The fifth Pakistan Investment and Business Environment Exchange Forum 2026 was held in Guangzhou, China. It discussed new opportunities for bilateral trade, investment and economic cooperation between Pakistan and China.

Policy dialogues, presentations of investment projects, industrial agreements, B2B meetings and a display of products were also arranged on the occasion. Five memorandums of understanding were signed at the forum in the fields of electric vehicles, battery manufacturing, construction materials, furniture, pine nuts, and medical and business tourism.

The forum also reaffirmed the resolve to further strengthen economic cooperation on the completion of 75 years of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China. It also highlighted the prospects of expanding industrial and infrastructure cooperation under CPEC.

Investment opportunities were presented at the forum in various sectors, including energy, e-commerce, construction materials, furniture and food processing.

Growing trade links, new investment and business partnerships between Pakistan and China are giving a new direction to economic cooperation between the two countries.
