CM Maryam Nawaz welcomes PM’s relief package for public

In her statement, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz also thanked leader Muhammad Nawaz Sharif for the Prime Minister’s relief package. She said the concern shown by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leadership for the people in difficult times was commendable.

She said the rising trend of oil prices in the international market was causing hardship for people in developing countries. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had given an excellent relief package on the directions of PML-N President Nawaz Sharif.

Maryam Nawaz said the increase in petroleum prices was affecting every segment of society across the world. She said the Prime Minister’s relief package for the people was a welcome step even in difficult economic conditions.

It may be recalled that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif launched a special petrol relief scheme for the public the previous day.

Under the special relief scheme, users of motorcycles, rickshaws, chingchis and vehicles of up to 800cc will be given relief of Rs100 per litre on petrol.
