Iraq to reopen three border crossings with Iran

According to a news agency, Iraqi officials said the Al-Shaib border crossing with Iran will reopen to travellers today. Passenger traffic will also resume at the Shalamcheh crossing in Basra.

Iraqi officials said trade at the Shalamcheh crossing will also restart at the end of this week.

Iraq had temporarily closed some border crossings with Iran after a drone attack on a Saudi pipeline.
