Additional Deputy Commissioner chief guest at Uxbridge Public School prize distribution in Qila Saifullah

QILA SAIFULLAH: Uxbridge Public School held its annual prize distribution ceremony, with Additional Deputy Commissioner Mir Raheem Khan Mengal as chief guest. A large number of teachers, students, parents and notables of the area attended.

The ceremony began with a recitation from the Holy Quran. The school principal welcomed the guests and spoke about the school’s academic performance, discipline and extracurricular activities. He said the institution was playing a full role in promoting quality education, and that the all-round training of students was its main aim.

In his address, the Additional Deputy Commissioner said education was a powerful weapon that could change the fate not only of an individual but of the whole society. He said progress was not possible without education, and that only educated nations could guarantee a bright future.

He urged students to make hard work, dedication and discipline their habit and to move ahead under the guidance of their parents and teachers. He described teachers as the builders of the nation who light up the new generation with knowledge, morals and character. He also urged parents to pay special attention to their children’s education so that they became positive and responsible citizens.

At the end of the ceremony, the chief guest distributed prizes and certificates among students who had performed well. The students showed their talents in speeches and educational activities, which the audience appreciated.

Finally, the school administration thanked the Additional Deputy Commissioner and all the guests. It pledged that Uxbridge Public School would continue its efforts to promote education and give students the best training.
