Barkhan Health Chief Makes Surprise Visit to DHQ Hospital and MCH Centre

Barkhan: District Health Administrator Dr Muhammad Hassan Domki made a surprise visit to DHQ Hospital Barkhan and the MCH Centre to provide quality medical facilities to the public and improve the performance of government hospitals.

During the visit, he inspected the dental ward, dialysis unit, emergency department and MCH Centre, among other sections, and reviewed the medical facilities provided to patients.

Checks on staff and medicines

He checked the availability of life-saving medicines, the attendance of medical and paramedical staff, duty rosters and arrangements for patient care.

On the occasion, Dr Domki directed the relevant staff to ensure the availability of medicines, cleanliness and hygiene, the timely completion of records, and better medical care for patients.

Warning of strict action over negligence

He made clear that negligence and carelessness in official duties would not be tolerated, and that all staff must carry out their responsibilities with full discipline and integrity.

The district health administrator said the purpose of surprise visits was to improve hospital performance, ensure staff attendance and provide timely, quality medical care to the public.
