Turbat University launches alumni networking on vice chancellor’s directive
TURBAT: Alumni networking has been formally launched at the University of Turbat under the data management system of the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), on the directive of Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Gul Hassan.
The main aim of the initiative is to support the professional growth of graduates (alumni), promote contacts among them and help them advance in their careers.
Aims of the network
According to a spokesman for the University of Turbat, continued guidance and career counselling for students after they complete their degrees is a core part of the university’s vision and strategic plan. The network will be an effective means of connecting graduates with professionals at national and international levels and of providing new job and business opportunities. It will also ensure the participation of graduates in university events, the alumni society and decision-making.
Furthermore, alumni’s suggestions for the development of the institution will be given priority. Their experience will also be used to provide internships and job opportunities and to guide current students.
The University of Turbat invites all its graduates to register immediately through the official online link and benefit from the facilities announced by the university.
