Encroachments removed in Turbat to widen road under City Project

TURBAT: On the directions of the Deputy Commissioner Kech, officials visited the site to implement the ongoing road-widening project under the City Project. The visit was supervised by Assistant Commissioner Nadeem Iqbal Bangulzai. Turbat Municipal Corporation Chief Officer Shoaib Nasir and Superintendent Huzoor Bakhsh were with him.

During the visit, a demolition operation was carried out to remove encroachments and other obstructions on the land set aside for widening the road. Municipal Corporation staff cleared the encroachments at the site so that the work could go ahead according to the planned schedule.

Assistant Commissioner Nadeem Iqbal Bangulzai directed shopkeepers to move their goods and business activities to the newly built shops. He told them to ensure full cooperation with the district administration and the Municipal Corporation staff.

He said road widening under the City Project was important for improving the flow of traffic in the city, providing travel facilities to the public and improving urban infrastructure. He urged shopkeepers to cooperate with the administration in completing the project, which he said was in the public interest. The district administration is continuing efforts to implement ongoing development projects in the city and to improve civic facilities.
