Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch Lays Foundation Stone for Basic Health Unit in Sarki

Ormara: Provincial Assembly member Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch visited Sarki, a remote area of Ormara tehsil, where he formally laid the foundation stone for the construction of a Basic Health Unit (BHU) to provide basic medical facilities to the local population.

The project will be completed under the supervision of the Urban Planning and Development Authority at a total cost of Rs 35 million within a fixed period of 24 months.

During the visit, the provincial assembly member met residents of Bassol and other neighbouring remote areas and learnt about their problems and needs.

He said that completion of the project would significantly improve the provision of basic healthcare to the people of Sarki and surrounding settlements, and would also largely spare them the hardship of travelling long distances for treatment.
