Commissioner Orders Emergency Response as Fire Engulfs Wheat Crop at Ghotki Farm in Naseerabad

NASEERABAD: Commissioner Naseerabad Division Salahuddin Norzai took immediate notice of a sudden fire that broke out at the farmhouse of prominent landlord Mir Manzoor Khan Khosa in Goth Mir Hassan Khosa, and issued directives to the relevant authorities to begin emergency relief operations and bring the blaze under control.

On the special instructions of the Commissioner Naseerabad Division, fire brigade vehicles were dispatched without delay from three districts of the division to the site, where they took part in firefighting operations.

Fire brigade personnel brought the fire under control after sustained efforts and prevented it from spreading further.

The blaze damaged a ready paddy crop stored at the farmhouse. Local residents also tried to put out the fire on their own and cooperated fully with the fire brigade staff.

Residents of the area praised the Commissioner for taking prompt notice, launching emergency measures and sending fire brigade vehicles from three districts to the site. They said timely relief operations helped control the fire and stopped it from spreading to nearby areas.
