Quetta DC Mehrullah Badini chairs meeting on tube wells near Sahibzada Karez

QUETTA: A meeting on the issue of tube wells in the vicinity of Sahibzada Karez was held under the chair of Quetta Deputy Commissioner Mehrullah Badini.

The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Saddar Quetta Muhammad Yousuf Hashmi, the Executive Engineer of the Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department, the Executive Engineer of the Irrigation Department, the Senior Hydrogeologist of the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA), the Hydrogeologist of the Irrigation Department and the Tehsildar Saddar Quetta.

The meeting reviewed in detail the issue of tube wells operating around Sahibzada Karez. Officials of the departments concerned discussed the matter.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the officials concerned to examine all aspects of the issue and submit their reports and proposals in light of the facts and the situation on the ground, so that suitable steps could be taken.
