NASEERABAD: Naik Muhammad, Deputy Director of the Divisional Information Office Naseerabad, met Naseerabad Deputy Commissioner Virender Lal. He briefed him on the department’s work to highlight effectively, across the division, the Balochistan government’s public welfare and development measures, provision of basic facilities and steps to resolve public problems.

The Deputy Director said the Information Department was continuously taking steps, through the media, to bring the public service activities, development projects, administrative measures and progress in various sectors of the Balochistan government and the district administration to the people. He said the aim was to inform the public of government measures in time and to highlight efforts to resolve public complaints.

Deputy Commissioner Virender Lal said the Balochistan government was working on various development and welfare projects, keeping in view the basic needs of the people, regional priorities and public problems. He said the projects aimed to provide basic facilities, improve living standards and resolve problems on a lasting basis.

He said it was extremely important to make the public aware of government measures and ongoing development projects, and the Information Department should therefore perform its duties in a more active and coordinated manner. The Deputy Commissioner praised the efforts of the Divisional Information Office. He expressed the hope that the department would continue its services in the same spirit so that the link between the government and the public would grow stronger.
