Jafarabad Deputy Commissioner Khalid Khan orders EPI vaccination targets be met

JAFARABAD: The monthly EPI review meeting was held under the chairmanship of Jafarabad Deputy Commissioner Khalid Khan. It reviewed in detail the health facilities provided across the district, the children’s vaccination campaign and the monthly performance of the Health Department. The Additional Deputy Commissioner, district officers of the Health Department and other officials concerned attended the meeting.

The Deputy Commissioner was given a detailed briefing on the health services being provided in the public interest and on the Immunization programme.

Deputy Commissioner Khalid Khan said that vaccinating children on time was the first responsibility of the Health Department. He said vaccination targets must be met and health facilities must reach remote areas. He said no negligence or lapse in this regard would be tolerated. He directed that all available resources be used to provide quality health facilities and to make the Immunization process more effective.
