DUKI: The District Compensation Committee held an important meeting under the chairmanship of Duki Deputy Commissioner Fazal-ur-Rehman Kabdani. The meeting reviewed in detail cases relating to compensation for affected families and deserving people.

SP Duki Mansoor Ahmed Bazdar, Municipal Committee Chief Officer Samandar Khan Nasir, Treasury Officer Abdul Baqi, representatives of the Livestock Department and officers of other departments attended the meeting.

The committee examined each case individually. It took the necessary decisions on merit and transparency, keeping in view documentary records, legal requirements, government policy, prescribed rules and the eligibility of the beneficiaries.

The Deputy Commissioner said that financial assistance given to affected and deserving families was their rightful due and that the district administration was fully aware of its responsibilities. He said complete transparency, impartiality and merit must be ensured in all compensation matters so that government aid could reach genuine beneficiaries on time.

He directed that the scrutiny of pending cases be made more effective and faster, and that action be taken according to the rules after full verification of all documents. He made it clear that the transparent and fair use of public resources would be ensured at all costs. He expressed the hope that all institutions would play an active role, through mutual cooperation, in settling compensation matters on time.
