Chaman Deputy Commissioner chairs meeting on school management committees

CHAMAN: An important meeting of the Parent Teacher School Management Committees (PTSMCs) and the Project Management Unit (PMU) was held under the chairmanship of Chaman Deputy Commissioner Habib Ahmed Bangulzai. It reviewed matters relating to educational institutions in the district, the performance of schools and ongoing steps to improve the education system.

The meeting discussed in detail the role of PTSMCs, the facilities available in schools, the problems of students and teachers, improving the learning environment and the administrative affairs of schools.

The Deputy Commissioner said that all institutions would have to perform their duties effectively to promote quality education in Chaman district. He said effective coordination between parents, teachers and school management committees could play an important role in improving the education system.

He directed that problems of schools be identified and practical steps taken to resolve them. He also directed that the committees be made active and that the involvement of parents and the local community be ensured. Officers of the departments concerned and representatives of the PMU attended the meeting. They expressed the resolve to continue mutual cooperation to make the education system effective, transparent and active.
