Poet Saleem Bazag presents poetry collection to Ormara Assistant Commissioner

ORMARA: Well-known Balochi poet Saleem Bazag met Ormara Assistant Commissioner Dr Mahnoor Barkat and presented her with his poetry collection, “Chaul Chastin Chaar”, as a gift.

District Health Officer Gwadar Dr Yasir Tahir and Additional Health Officer and In-charge of the Rural Health Centre (RHC) Ormara Dr Ali Akbar Lal were also present. The meeting discussed promoting the Balochi language and literature, protecting regional culture and introducing the new generation to its literary and cultural heritage.

Dr Mahnoor Barkat praised the poet’s literary services. She said regional languages and literature were an important part of the country’s cultural identity, and that collective efforts were needed to promote and protect them.
