Rakhni assistant commissioner directs hotel owners to follow official price list

RAKHNI: Assistant Commissioner Rakhni Fahad Hussain Umrani has begun his administrative work after taking charge of the post. He has started steps to ensure that official price lists for food and other essential items are followed in the city.

In this connection, he met hotel owners from Dera Ghazi Khan and Rakhni and directed them to sell items according to the official price list. He made it clear that action would be taken in accordance with the law against those who violated the price list and charged citizens more.

Fahad Hussain Umrani said that supplying essential items to the public at fixed prices and preventing illegal profiteering were among the administration’s top priorities. He directed officials to continue regular checks and monitoring of price lists in the markets. He said no individual or business community would be allowed to violate official orders.

Public circles welcomed these steps. They expressed the hope that people involved in the wheat and flour Business would also be monitored effectively. They also hoped that action would be taken in accordance with the law over short weight or charging above the fixed price.
