Naseerabad education committee decides action against absent teachers without discrimination

NASEERABAD: An important meeting of the District Education Committee was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Naseerabad Virender Lal. It reviewed several matters, including improving teaching in the district’s educational institutions, the attendance of teachers and other employees, problems faced by them, the provision of quality educational facilities to students, and action against absent employees without discrimination.

The meeting considered proposals to make teaching activities more effective, ensure teachers’ attendance and give students a better learning environment. It stressed maintaining discipline and not tolerating negligence in teaching.

Deputy Commissioner Virender Lal said no society or country could achieve real progress without modern and quality education. He said that to join the ranks of developed countries, significant progress would have to be made in the education sector. He said teachers were the builders of society, and their responsibility included the moral training and character building of students along with classroom teaching.

He directed that the attendance of teachers and staff be ensured in all government educational institutions, and that absent employees be acted against in accordance with the rules without discrimination. He said public resources were a trust of the people and negligence of duty was not acceptable under any circumstances. He added that the district administration would provide every possible support for the promotion of education.
