Presidential orders on emergency and governor’s rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa laid before joint session

ISLAMABAD (Atemad Desk): Both presidential orders imposing emergency and governor’s rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were presented in the joint session of Parliament. Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhry laid them before the House.

The session was held under the chair of National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq. At the start of the proceedings, grief was expressed over the deaths of children when the roof of a school collapsed in Peshawar. Prayers for forgiveness were offered and Fatiha was recited for the children who died.
